First Wind is committed to teaching the benefits of wind energy to the next generation of environmental stewards. We believe educating youth today about environmental issues and renewable energy is an investment in the future of our planet. 

First Wind offers teachers and schools the opportunity to tour an operating wind farm for a hands-on student experience. With a First Wind representative as your guide, students will learn how wind energy is produced, how a turbine works and how the wind farm affects their local community. It’s fun and educational.
