Bernardo Lacoste has overall management responsibility for operations and maintenance of First Wind projects in North America and Hawaii.

Career Highlights
Mr. Lacoste has 33 years of experience in the power generation field, with the last 22 years in the wind energy industry.

After receiving his initial power generation training from the Army Corp of Engineers, he joined the wind industry in 1984—when the industry was still in its infancy. Since that time, he has been involved in the construction, operation, maintenance, administration, and development of a wide range of wind projects in Central and North America.

Prior to joining First Wind, he was the Regional Service Manager for Enertech Wind Systems after serving as Vice President and General Manager of OESC. In addition, he played a key role in wind projects as General Manager at Whitewater Maintenance Corporation, Project Manager with FORAS Service Corporation, and Application Engineer at enXco Development Corporation.
