Krista Kisch is responsible for origination, project development and joint-venture management of First Wind’s wind farm portfolio in the Western U.S.
Ms. Kisch has worked on business development teams in the water, wind energy, and retail energy sectors in the U.S. and South America.
Since 2000, she has focused on the wind energy sector, including the origination of wind sites, project development activities, and due-diligence teams tasked with the valuation of wind farm acquisitions.
As a Manager with Shell WindEnergy, LLC, she was involved in the company's acquisition of the Brazos Wind Farm (160 MW) and the financing and acquisition of the Colorado Green Wind Farm (162 MW).
Ms. Kisch was responsible for business development and asset acquisition in South America for Azurix, Enron’s water company. She also worked as commercial/industrial retail origination with Enron Energy Services in Houston, Texas.
She possesses six years of international development experience with the Australian Trade Commission and as a consultant with The World Bank.
To date, Ms. Kisch's overseas duties and travel have included more than 35 countries. She brings extensive business development experience to First Wind, where she has substantially grown the company's Western U.S. wind project portfolio and business since joining the company in 2005.
