Matt Kearns has worked in the clean energy industry for the past 15 years with a focus on renewable energy project permitting and development.
After five years with FPL Energy working on hydro and wind energy projects nationwide Matt returned to New England. He has been with First Wind for two years developing wind projects in Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont. During that period Matt has been responsible for bringing 97MW of new wind generation through permitting and 57MW into the construction phase. The Sheffield Project (40MW) in Vermont will be the State’s first modern wind farm and the Stetson Project (57MW) in Maine is currently under construction in Washington County and will be online in 2008.
