Evelyn Carpenter is responsible for directing and overseeing all project management and construction activities for First Wind.

Career Highlights
Ms. Carpenter has more than 15 years of engineering, construction, and project management experience in the energy, petroleum, and petrochemical sectors.

She started her career in the wind industry with SeaWest WindPower serving as a project manager of domestic and international wind projects. In that role, she supported development, evaluated project feasibility, and oversaw project engineering and construction.

With the acquisition of SeaWest by AES Wind Generation, Ms. Carpenter achieved a significant professional accomplishment when she successfully managed the development and construction of the 352.5 MW Buffalo Gap 1 & 2 Wind Projects.

Prior to entering the wind industry, Ms. Carpenter spent eight years with Fluor Daniel and Duke/Fluor Daniel as project engineer, site engineering manager, and structural engineer for multiple power, petroleum, and petrochemical projects.
